there is no water in the cistern its just running through in2 the toilet itself, the float is spraying out water & making a hissing noise, its a barcelona closed coupled toilet from b&q. if you fill the cistern manually it will flush but then it doesn't fill back up.

if the water is going straight into the wc then the flush valve isn't shutting properly.
