just fitted a ceiling light in hall way, there are two lights but replaced one. when i put the power back on one light will be on and the other not, when i switch the light the other one comes on and the currant one goes off. Dont know what ive done wrong

How many switches are there to control the lights?

if more than one switch is it 2 way switching where either switch controls both lights simultaneously or each switch controls each light independently of the other?

If only one switch do you expect it to control both lights or just one of them?

Did you mess with the switch (switches)

How many ceiling fixtures did you mess with?

What colours (colors) and how many wires at each place you tampered at.
