low upstairs water pressure?

Thanks for your help i tried back filling however it seems all the cold taps are fed from the mains which has really good presure downstairs put very little upstairs ie if you flush the toilet the shower and taps stop working so we can only use one or the other

I would make sure it is mains fed. Have you got a water tank in the attic? If you dont you have to trace the black water pipe feeding upstairs and ensure there is no stop cock after being half turned off. I am sure its not mains fed as this is just wrong check around for that tank. wheres the hot water cylinder? now follow the feed (usually fed in on the top) from that and see where you end up or come accross. ps in ireland the mains operates i think around 7bar and this is more than enough 4 uo to 6 story high buildings
