how do I get rid of a wasps nest?

There's a wasp nest under the eaves---they're getting into the bedrioom and "stinging" HELP

This is an easy one. Wasps are very territorial. All you need is to make a fake huge nest and they will leave quickly. I have seen them in gardensalive.com catalog, but it is just a frame with gray fabric over it to look like a big cone shaped nest. Hang it under your eves and you will not have wasps again.

You can buy a can of wasps nest destroyer from your local supermarket for around £4. It is basically a fly spray that fires a thick jet of spray from a distance so you can run away ! It does work though. Give the nest another spray after 10 minutes or so , avoiding wasps returning to the nest that were away when you first sprayed.

My wasp man has just left, 5 mins ago - £30 - he tells me he hasn't been stung for 2 years now and that wasps are more aggressive in October when new Queens are forming.

He also told about the pest man at Reading council - when he told the callers how much it would cost them they would often ask, "can I do it myself?"

His answer, "Yes of course you can but watch your eyes - they always go for the eyes." - always ment that the council got the job.

Depends how brave you are....if you can get in there with some spray or powder that will see them off, (with suitable clothing, naturally) but they won't appreciate it and may ask you for dinner....you can also call a pest control firm. Any attack by you is best done at night when they are all beddy byes.
