Definately a motor fault problem, I replaced bushes, seemed to cure problem (E30 went) then an armature segment fell out and motor compltely stopped (E30 returned). Now I need to replace the whole motor I guess.

E30 is a motor fault - no feedback from the tachometer.
Probable cause - worn down carbon motor brushes.
If not, sometimes the motor plugs are prone to wiring fatigue if the harness hasn't been routed correctly.

E30 is motor tacho fault, not as somebody else said pump fault. Means motor faulty, could be motor brushes

E30 is a pump problem. check for blockages if its clear of blockages then the pump will need replacing.
