F13 glow worm boiler fault?

i have a 18hxi boiler and the f13 fault which is main pcb board fault. when the heating it turned off in the morning the f13 is there. if you put the heating on and the f13 is there and i bang the front panel it starts to work. i have check all the wires is it the main board all seems ok??? as i dont want to buy one it is wont sort the problem out. thanks

I have f13 appear often. Sometime the boiler works forw weeks at a time the f13 appears again. I do the generalturn it offat the wall then turn on again and boiler starts up again and all fine. So it generally works non stop for weeks then f13 appears again then switch off and comes on again. Sometimes tho inbwteen constantly stayingon it goes off several times in a day. Hope that makes sense. Cant afford a new board!!

Hi, I have Glow Worm boiler and the F13 problem is my nightmare. it only happens but frequently in summer when the boiler is rarely on. I had British Gas visited 7 times ! PCB changed, wiring changed, as well as many other things ! they were surprised that they couldn't sort it out. It was OK in winter now back again - Having to turn off and on every day twice to keep it working.

I don't mind paying for it to be fixed but don't want to pay British Gas again with similar outcome as before. Any help please..

I have a glow worm British gas 330 boiler. It is showing an F13 fault and flashes red. If i switch boiler off and my contole panel upstairs off then switch them both back on again the boiler works. But if i put it on timed it goes to F13 again. Any ideas.

F13 can be attributed to the wiring harness or either of the pcb's. It is generally a connection issue between them.

I would recommend that you contact Group Service, the service division of Glow-worm as listed in your copy of the instructions.

If does sound like you state that the product is out of warranty, this would make the visit chargeable. However you can be sure that the correct part is replaced and the work is guaranteed.

All the work listed above does require that it is undertaken only by a Gas Safe registered engineer in Great Britain.

Disconnect and then reconnect all plugs on pcb and also on interface.if faults persists then new pcb will be neebed
