Thx for the info aswell, mine also wont charge when pressing the set button, so opened it up and shorted the two soldered contacts on the switch (bypassed) to eliminate the switch, and it went straight on charge (red light), so I will get a new switch tomorrow.. exellent advice thx again..

thanks i wasn't the person who asked the question but after reading this i checked my switch and that was the problem i never would have thought of that as it's not had an amazing amount of use, identical replacement 89 pence from maplins, now works perfect thanks again

hi there id the same prob with mine and it ended up a fuse inside the charger had blown ,it worked for a while and now has completly stoped charging even after fuse replacing ,it was a tricky fix as its a soildered in fuse so i cut it and added a fuse holder and fuse from maplins

I had the same problem with my charger. It turned out (in my case) to be the little membrane switch itself. I just wired another push switch in its place (small Maplin push switch) and it's working fine now. If you're handy with a soldering iron this is a quick cheap fix.
