fender frontman 15r hum?

This is a low end solid state amp and will always hum, that's just what solid state amps do. The ONLY way not have an amp that doesn't hum is to buy a tube amp, although on the lower end of tube amps, even used, will start at about $400, so if you're not prepared to spend that kind of money then just learn to accept the hum as part of solid state amplification. Single coil pickups are known for humming. Look up the directions for insulating the body cavity, using metal tape. That will help reduce it.
