My 1950's Smiths Mantel clock is running slow, how do I adjust it to speed ?

My smiths mantel clock was running well then we packed it up in a container with all of our household good and shipped it from South Africa to Canada. When we unpacked it and wound it up it seemed to work fine but it is now slowly losing time and can be up to 10 min behind in 24 hours. How do we speed it up?

There is a brass adjusting screw on the Pendulum.Pull the Chime Spring to one side on its Pivot and you will see it.

Is it a mechanical (wound mechanism) clock? If so you should be able to access the back - and find a pendulum? There may be a dial on the pendulum labelled 'S-F' signifying 'slow' and 'fast'! Try adjusting the dial.
