I have a 40GB Nomad Zen Xtra that will only produce sound if the headphone or other output plug is inserted and then the least bit of "jiggling" is used to find a good contact. I then have to hold it in that position to use it - would like to fix it! I have read of some repairs to re-solder the connections to the output jack inside the Zen. Does anyone know if this actually works, and if so - how easy is it? Thank you in advance for your input and help!

I'm not sure if it could be fixed cause I had a problem like that with my Zen 20GB & I took it to the company to repair it & they changed the whole piece.
