How can i fix my Maytag dryer?

My dryer is only about 4 years old. I just put a load in to dry and it all of a sudden wont start. .....no power at all like it wasnt plugged in. So i looked to make sure it was plugged in which it was i noticed when i moved a month ago the person that installed the dryer neglected to attach the hose that connects to the dryer and the wall...could this be the problem?
