Hello, I've obtained the Toshiba recommended discs for the above but they still will not format. How can you fix this please?

I have this machine and have the same problem - just bung in a cheapie DVD-R, you cant re-use it but you can always throw it away! We are talking pennies here.

I'm thinking of contacting Toshiba and asking for a refund on these DVD RW's - wouldn't have bought them if I didn't have the Toshiba 45
