How do I adjust the screen on my T.V. so that I can see the whole picture? The bottom and top are cut off.

This could be what is known as 'letter boxing' and in a lot of circumstances is is perfectly normal. Is your TV 'Widescreen'? If so one nearly aleways gets some ltter boxing off air, more of it off DVD/VCR and none from a Set Top Box. It si also dependent on the broadcaster and what is being broadcast at the time.
