i have a captiveworks 700s receiver and not able to get constant signal and it wiil pickup transponers but no channels.the signal is low and quality is no more than 10 t0 14 %.
any help appreciated.

sorry about that advice , i thought that you were on cable , and useing digivox fta, ect. T is right , dish alignment , see if you can get a sat finder, might help you get back on line , or get a friend , with a mobile to help , as you move the dish and he can tell you whats going on , on the tv screen , mick

With that Signal Quality, it just won't work. You need to check the connections and dish alignment. (Most likely the latter.)

I suggest that you do not try to plug the cable from your dish to a TV as previously suggested for several reasons. Apart from the risk of causing damage (because they are not supposed to be plugged to each other) the TV will be unable to power the LNB.
