how can I fix my Hygena AHY 8102/1 dishwasher?

After cleaning (moved the door seal) the dishwasher started spurting water out of the bottom of the door, not continuously but every now and again. My wife stopped the machine, switched it off and emptied it. I got a repairman in who said it needed a new door seal and lower spray arm, which I ordered on line then fitted them. I switched on the machine again but it seems to be stuck in some part of the cycle and although I have left it on for hours, it will not do anything. Can you please advise.

I hope you paid the engineer after using his training

I think you probably have water in the base of the machine, this is telling the sensors to keep pumping the water out .Check inside the machine to see if the water has pumped out. If it has I cured this on mine by tipping the machine and draining out the water(this requires lots of towels to soak up the water) Before tipping the machine take out the racks. I got this tip from a repairman who was having to do this many times a day.
