changing to a new light fitting?

I live in a house which is eight years old I have purchased a new light fitment. The old rose had a plate with a block of 3 terminals.the wiring to the terminal is LYellow with a red sleeve,N two wires twisted together one Black one Blue , and a pair of red wires twisted together in the terminal marked loop, the yellow and green Earth terminal is separate.
The terminal in the new light fitting is a block of 4 marked L one marked N and and one marked earth plus one blank.I have tried fitting using the same as from the old,the light bulbs stays on but cannot be switched off at switch I am obviously coing something wrong. can you help please ?

I take it you're removing the old rose and using the terminals in the new "fitment" instead?

Sounds like the two red wires twisted together go into the "blank" terminal. Live is the yellow wire with red sleeve, the others should be obvious.
