Thomson Digital box has lost signal?

My Thomson Digi box seems to be losing signal every time I change channel and I end up having to switch it on and off several times before signal returns.

I can no longer record anything as the signal is failing all the time. Additionally I have no signal on the 2nd tuner at all.

Can anyone please help as I'm about to pick the thing up and smash it into a million pieces!

my digital box just lost signal completely last night, I have tried rescanning, alot, and it finds frequencies but no channels. Its definately not the aerial cos i have now put in my old freeview box and its found lots of channels!

I am also having this problem...with a Thomson Digital Freeview Recorder-DG6300-16.

I don't think it is the aerial as it would be very strange if two people both have the exact same problem with their aerials out of the blue. Especially as up until now I have had a really good consistent signal.

Anyone got any ideas...please?

It helps no end if you say what Thomson box you have. Thomson are a huge company who make lots of products.

However, it you have FreeView recorder??? It will be your aerial. It needs either: realigning, replacing or reconnecting.
