Sony mp3 player fault?

I've only had my sony mp3 player about 6 months, but it only plays through one of the headphone ears unless you spend ages twisting and bending the jack, even then it goes very easily. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It's the earphones fault. This happens to me alot. You just need new earphones.
