All of a sudden the left side of the cassette player will not play my tape. The right side (while facing it) plays beautifully. I cannot find anything missing or different between the two sides. I have such a large collection of cassette tapes. I know it is old - but so am I and both of my sides still work. Any help would be so, so appreciated, even just a place to take it. The radio still works perfectly too.

yes, it needs new drive belts. one for each side. it wont be long before the other side goes also. a stereo shop will charge you $50.00 plus parts ($25.00) so for roughly under $100.00 it will be like new again. I can get a discount on these belts ($4.00 ea.) let me know if you need them, or i can fix it if you ship it to me.
