Phone hotpoint I think your machine should be under 5 years old therefore covered by hotpoint five year parts guarantee. You will have to pay a call out charge usually around 100 quid but they will supply the part for free. This is usually the cheapest option. The fault you have is the main module, these are not cheap and they have to be programmed when they are fitted, not every wm repairer is kitted up to do this. Good luck.
