the cord came out of the switch when i open it two pieces came out dont know which way they go back in

I did this once and it was a nightmare to figure out where the bits went, better to just replace the whole thing there only a few quid
Make sure the powers off though, you wont get a second chance if you get a belt for a 30amp shower feed,
If your not sure get a sparky in to do it for you.
