How to start my grandfather clock?

We have never had our grandfather clock cleaned or oiled in 15 years. It is harder to start each time I accedentally let it run down. This time it stopped without running down. I think it is OK but how do I oil and clean it before I try to start it again? How should I start it and what should I do before I attempt it.
It is a tall Seth Thomas with a ship picture and with moon phases. It has 3 weights and wind opening is separate opening from the pendulum.

Its 15 years old right? Call a clock repair man to check for wears and overhaul it and oil it. After that when he is done oiling and overhauling it swing the pendulum, it will tick. when its not even tick tock like tick-tock----tick-tock then put something under the feet like a penny to balance it. do it several times until the tick tock is even.
