toilet - cisten - keeps filling with water?

when filling the bath (with cold water ) the toilet - cisten fills up & the sink starts to drip
ive also turned the water off to the toilet & the sink drips even quicker ! , has anybody got any ideas ?

Have you got very high water pressure ? if so you may need a reduceing valve fitting.
Call in a plumber to check it out
