My hotpoint microwave puts out 4 long beeps and displays the "F3" in the display at sporadic times of day / night

Hello Candace, Sep 09 must be the season for the beeps and F3... mine too! Then it displays PF, and the touch pad does nothing. One reader said to depress the off/clear button and hold it down to "reset" the microwave. I did. Nuttin'. It worked for that fellow, hope it works for you. (I'm on my way to the service center!)
