If it is still in use is Asbestolux used in gas fire surrounds suitable for use as a heat barrier under cupboard situated over the hob in my caravan. Or would a metal plate with air space between cupboard and plate be a better option?. Thank you in anticipation of replies.
Asbestolux has been superceded by 'Superlux' which does effectively the same thing. Much better than a steel plate, which will transfer the heat to somewhere else.
