I have just replaced my Rollexa remote controller with a 433Mhz unit bought from Autorollukltd on Ebay Model No: AR433 Plus. Works great. The only trouble is it only supports using a max 40watt courtesy light. On my old remote I was able to wire in an extra 2 lights outside the garage, this was handy as the garage is down a dark lane and when my wife came home in the evening and pressed the remote, it would illuminate the lane so she could check that there wasn't anyone lurking around in the shadows.

Not sure if you got it sorted. But I suggest using the power supply which normally powers the 40W bulb and use it to energise a coil of a 240V relay which can be purchased from somewher like maplin. Then use the mains power supply through the contacts n/O contacts to energise your larger outside lights.

you need to add a contactor , you can use the output to switch the contactor on/ off , i would also connect it to a photocell so it only comes on whenits dark
