Since 01/10/09 when i switch from my sky box to freeview, i get a message - no signal. Also when i try to re-tune, the "dish" symbol is greyed out, yet a good ordinary aeriel is plugged in.

also have you tried the retune of your tv you can do this with the menu button then find installation select auto install i you aerial is anywhere near strong enough you should find in the region of 90+ channels if not then new aerial time im afraid but your not on your own most of the country need them.

you will more than likely need a new digital areial as the one you will most likely have is analouge and not strong enough to receive digital sinals.
