my machine when switched on the ready light and finished light are both coming on so it will not start a new programe

my problem was overloading, spin and drain just didn't happen, start light kept flashing and door remained locked. Turned machine off at mains, moved machine as near as i could to back door released water through filter (dont know if i needed to flood kitchen), door now opened, removed most of washing, turned back on and is now working. must go know and dry kitchen floor.

press and hold the start button in for 3-5 seconds.let the machine run and eventually it will reset (hopefully)
