noisy boiler and pressure guage judders and goes upto 3.5?

hello,i have aworcester 24 .ive tried to turn centralheating on and the prwssure gauge has hit 3.5 to4 it is normally set between1 and1.5 ,the guage starts to jump and is a fast clunking noise.ive left two taps running but that has only taken it down to 2.5 to 3.soon as i turn tap off it goes back up and needle judders again,any one help please

you need to make sure your filling loop is turned off firstly. if its off and the pressure is constantly above 3 then your heat exchanger is probably burst allowing mains pressure into the heating system. if only when heating is on then expansion vessel probably needs re-pressurised. either way you're going to need a new pressure relief valve, that's what's making the noise.
