French Door - the lock has been superglued?

Please help - I came home and found that my upvc door would not open looks like its been filled with superglue.

would it be easy for a locksmith to drill out the lock and replace a new one?

Yes it would be easy to replace the lock without drilling. The lock could be removed because you can still use the key from the inside so removing/replacing won't be a problem.
