this is a common problem with this boiler. i would suggest ripping the thing out and throwing through the window of the nearest baxi trading supplier. these people that made these things really do need their heads read. a child could do a better job.
the e1 code means the water system needs to be re pressurized and it is my understanding you will need to take the stupid thing apart to do that. So a service enginneer is required, give baxi a call on their preimum rate telephone line and i am sure they will be happy to help .
