plumbing?

loud noise coming from pipework, when toilet is flushed (close coupled toilet), and also happens at night, if you turn on tap it relieves noise? how can i fix this problem please.

You might try a slightly easier solution first - turn off the house stop tap a bit and see what happens - a little less pressure from the mains might stop the noise. If that doesn't work then it's floorboard time.

This is called water hammer and its due to a water pipe not being clipped to a joist or something...try to identify where the clang is, and be prepared to lift floorboards - if possible.
