Hi there this is going to seem like a bike story but i have major problems...

My girlfriends gran passed away a few months ago and we was given her eurovox max box, which was working fine for her in scotland..
I got the box back to my house in Cambridge England and plugged it all in..
The box had 44 channels but was saying no signal, i done a full scan which took me ages and it found over 700 channels but i was still getting no signal..
So i decided to format the box from the menu options and i have now lost everything...
I can now not even do a scan because i have no channels and it does nothing when i click on the scan option..

Can someone please please help me out as i dont want to let the box go to waste as it means alot to my girlfriend as it was her grans box and iv meesed it up :-(

Hi Mate, thanks for all your help its founds loads of channels now, i just have 1 problem and thats that over 200 of the channels say scrambled next to them and dont come on, but all the ones with free next to them work fine, how can i unscramble the channels please ??

and the provider is Virgin Media (NTL)

first of all i need to know ,, what port do you have the cable pluged into at the back of the box? what it say on that port? who is your cable provider? were you are now . ntl / tellywest ect" get back to me with that info, and ill try help ....
