i have repaired my PV-D4734S by replacing 20v Zener(D1041) and 1.5a IC protector(PR1005), now when the VHS Tape is loaded into the mahine, it will not pick-up tape and feed around the head!!! Please Help!!! DVD is OK!!!

How do you know it's a 20V zener? Are you working off the schematic? I have one in right now that was bbq'd and it's D1041 has no markings to show voltage but does have a 25V cap feeding it. Have you checked all the other ICPs around there? Are you getting appropriate voltages elsewhere? Can you send me a copy of the power supply section? I could sure use it!
