Are you sure the camera can see your memory card ?
if it sees the card ( should get a message on screen showing number of pics available to store on card )
Are you sure the card is ok - can you try another one
Posssibly the card is seen but some of the pins the card connects to are bent ( look inside )
damage to the pins tcan be very difficult to repair as they are very accurately positioned ( I had a Fuji with damaged pin and luckily I was able to straighten it )
