The first thing to do is pull off the cover. This will you to look at the spring assembly. With the cover off, pull the cord. If it still does not pull then you can replace the spring assembly or even just the rope and this will solve the promlem. If the cord does pull then there is either something blocking your flywheel from turning or internal problems. e-mail me if you need more help
