My father-in-law is trying to setup his television with his Technosonic freeview receiver but it won't come off standby. We think we've connected it up correctly but it tries to switch on then it switches off straight away. It worked ok when he had set up with his television and video recorder. He's now wants it for the bedroom television without a video.
