With a cable splitter, can you have two TV's hooked up to one star choice box if only watching one TV a the time?

If your STB has a second RF Out, you can attach a second TV to this BUT it will be tuned to the same station as the main TV. If you want to watch two different programmes on two different TVs you need two Set Top Boxes - one to drive each TV. For two STBs you need either two Dishes or one dish with a dual LNB. This because the LNB (the thing that the coax plugs into at the dish) is an active device controlled by the STB.
