how to fix door catch on indesit dishwasher idl530?

the spring has popped out of the dishwasher when the door was opened i think its out of the door catch and now the door will not shut, any ideas how to fix it without calling the repair man

Spring is probarly broken. Same thing happened to me.
You can try and replace the spring or the catch assembly.

I have seen these locks on eBay for less than £9. If you think you can replace it, this may be the best option.
