Is my tv's fuse faulty?

I have a 36 inch sony XBR standard screen and my problem is, If I switch on my tv itll stay on for little while and then I hear a click and then acouple of seconds later, it turns back on again. Then soon after that, it clicks again, turns off, and comes back on again. Do you know what my problem is? and if so, how do you fix this?

No it's not the fuse.
More likely a short circuit causing the TV to trip.
Power supply senses incorrect power conditions and switches off to protect itself. Process repeats.
