boiler is overriding controller. ?

switching hot water off on controller, but boiler does not respond and continues to heat water supply to radiators... can it be the batt inside controller .digital timings and time settings still showing on controller

depends on what boiler and system you have but sounds like a knackered motorised valve giving the boiler a constant live regardless of your controllers selection
