La Torre tap cartridge?

I have a problem with a La Torre monobloc mixer washbasin tap.
The cold water is permanently running and I suspect I need to replace the cartridge.
My problem is I don't know how to get at it. I've removed the handle but I can't see a grub screw or anything similar to remove the top cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had amazing service from Italy and have dealt with MONICA - try estero at latorre-spa dot it [only do it as an email address would appear]

They only have one agent in UK and they do not deal with the whole range of taps that La Torre offer
However dealing with italy has been quicker than sometimes dealing with someone in UK
Give them a try

Same problems as everyone else. Anyone know of anywhere in the UK I can get a replacement cartridge. Need one for the bath shower mixer tap and also basin tap.

I have tried emailing la torre in Italy but have had no response

Guys, im trying to replace the cartridge but do not know how to remove the handle on my 12481 la torre. Its a single handle stem with a thicker part at the end. What part unscrews? I'm nervous to force it as it could break?
Thanks, trevor

Peter Taylor from Australia I have just the same problem. Slightly different mixer block, but the plastic flange has broken around the o-ring allowing it to spread and casues constant dripping. Did you find a replacement at all - and if so where did you source it?

Peter C, Melbourne Australia, January 2012
remove the retaining ring with a spanner. it you can not pull the Cartridge out by hand fit the Handle back and tighten grab-screw than pull. Damage to cartridge is to 99% because of inpurities in the water. Also check Filter (Aerator) at the spout where the water comes out. Or contact us at 011 462-2189. NEUMANN's, we are the LaTorre Agent.

I've had the same problem and eventually obtained a 35mm Replacement Open Outlet Ceramic Disk Tap Cartridge from Notjusttaps.com for £15.00. It fitted perfectly and resolved a long standing problem!

i work for NEUMANN SANITARYWARE in SOUTH AFRICA. We are the importers of LA Torre products in AFRICA. You can get the cartridges from us if you are in SOUTH AFRICA , or find out from LA TORRE who their agents are in your country.

Hello

You should unscrew the chrome collars to reveal a brass nut, this needs to be unscrewed and the cartridge is below, it should just then lift out, I have the same problem on a larger bath model, can you tell me where to get the cartridges?

Mr Scarratt, August 2010
no one said where to buy replacement cartridge.
Does anyone know?

I have the same problem, It is easy to remove the mixer block as previously stated.
Big problem is getting a replacement mixer bloc.
I am in Australia. The mixer block has
K 35 B
Made in Austria
for LA TORRE
written on it.
Where can I get a replacement from?
The problem is that the white plastic under the 2 small orings is undercu on the side in 2 places. This has caused the edge to crack away from the main part and not support a small part of the oring- leading to a continuous dribble/leak through the tap spout.
Only 1 side of mine has cracked, however you can see hairline cracks in the otherside, so it appears to me to be a design fault.

Where can I get a replacement?

Peter Taylor.

It is simple: After you have removed the handle, there should be a siver ring (the one you can see, when moving the handle), which you can srew off. Then comes a bronze screw, which you remove. After that, gently pull out the cartridge.

Thomas Berlin, January 2010
unscrew the handle, behind this is an allen key fitting screw, release this and then you can get to the fitting to release the monobloc mixer cartridge, by the way where did you get the replacement cartridge?
