SPOOKY DOOR?

My DVD door is haunted! It is a stand alone unit, and does not operate at my command, but opens and shuts whenever it wants to. HELP NEEDED, PLEASE!!

How old are the batteries in the remote control? or is the door still spooke when you use the controls on the front of the machine? Some remotes send confusing or just plain wrong signals when the batteries get weaker.
