My Vaillant ecotec plus boiler is nearly a year old - it was fine all year giving just hot water but as soon as we switched on the central heating the pressure rose and soon went into the red zone before finally turning itself off. The two taps underneath the boiler are both closed. Should I open one? Or is there a serious problem?
