do u use a wireless connection to the net or LAN, either way there may be a corrupt driver, find out the name of the drivers involved LAN and wireless driver, make a copy of them using another pc,
then control panel> system>hardware> device manager, check network drivers, there may already be a warning tag alongside them noting they are corrupt, failing that highlight the driver click right mouse button, and uninstall.
reboot pc the drivers uninstalled will be re installed by windows still having a prob with net, then follow same procedure as described, this time update driver, that should solve prob.
