Replacing a pendant with a halogen bar?

I'm replacing the landing pendant light with a halogen light bar but the old casing had to be destroyed to remove it. My problem is I now 3 earths(yel/black), one live(red), and 4 neutral wires(black) hanging down but I only have 1 earth, 1 live and 1 neutral connector in the new light fitting. Where do all the wires go?
Thanks in advance

No, don't twist them together! Aside from being a pain to get apart again they could fall apart meaning there is a poor connection.
If they won't all go in the same terminal in the light fitting, put them all together in terminal block and run a short length of flex to the light fitting.

Adam, do I just twist all the wires together and then leave enough of one them to actually fit into the respective terminal holes, is it really that simple or am I just naive? By the way I managed to change all the downstairs lights with no probs it's just first time i've came across this prob..cheers mate

All the earths go together, all the neutrals together in the neutral terminal and the live on it's own in the live terminal.
