Earth to Double Dimmer Switches!?

We have a double switch which controls wall lights on one switch and LED downlights on the other. We want to change the wall lights but it seems they have no earth connection and we will have to buy double insulated ones which don't need to be earthed. Will we be able to change the switch for a double dimmer switch?

check your dimmer is compatible to switch the type of lights you require ie led.any decent electrical wholesaler should be able to help but i have used a company called varilight who do a huge range of intelligent dimmers give them an email when you have sorted the type of lamps that will be in your fittings they should help.

That depends on the LED's if they or 12volt is the transformer dimmable???
You need to also check is the back box of the switch 35mm in from face of wall???
