I broke my computer?
I broke my computer today by knocking it flat on it's side. The hard drive fell onto the desk quite hard, this has happened a few times, about 3 or so. This time however the computerwill not turn on, if I boot it up the monitor will not display anything and sometimes the computer will turn off again in about 2-3 seconds. I'm not sure exactly what to do or if this is even the right place to ask. Currently I'm in an internet cafe and I urge people to respond ASAP.
Since this has happened before maybe it's a loose screw? But I don't think so.
I don't know what the other reason could be, when I knocked it over the monitor went blank and showed an orange light instead of the green one and pushing a button on the monitor brings up the image that it's in power savings mode, so I manually shut off the computer and attempted a reboot and this brings me to my current situation, I am under the impression the monitor is working just fine. It's the hard drive seems to be completely at fault , which is why I'm asking you. Any help at all, any suggestion even if you can only refer me elsewhere, will be fine.
Yes I checked to see if it was connected properly.
