Worcester Bosch Greenstar 24i not starting up?

I have a Worcester Bosch Greenstar Junior 24i controlled with a Drayton Digistat 24i. It's nearly four years old and has started playing up. The hot water heating works ok. The problem is with the heating: it regularly fails to start up when it should do.

The RF1 looks like it is transmitting ok. (New batteries, and it does work sometimes).

The SCR also looks like it is receiving ok (the red light flashes when RF1 is talking to it, telling it to turn on/off; the green light is on when the heating should kick in).

Seems like the message isn't getting from the SCR to the boiler? Or the boiler's start-up is at fault?

Any ideas about what might not working/needs fixing?

Thanks

I have the exact same fault. Boiler engineer out 3 times and it seems to work just before he arrives.
Heard on the grape vine that the Drayton rf1 system is terrible anyway, i.e. engineer says he's had to change loads of them.

What i found out:
1. its not the damn batteries (whole heating system is less than 6 months old)
2. its not the wireless router interfering (would be stupid to design a transmitter and receiver that could be buggered by modern technology)
3. its not due to being on a gas meter and being in the emergency credit (sometimes it does work in this situation)

Conclusion: it is because the Drayton rf1 is totally sh1t.

Replace it, problem solved.

I have exactly the same problem. If I turn off the boiler and receiver at the wall and then remove the batteries from the transmitter, then restart everything the problem can sort itself out for a few days. I can't see what's causing it though, and suspect a fault in the receiver.
