mintek 1810 8 port dvd player?

My 3 yr old toddler dropped my mintek portable dvd and now it can't read the discs or dvds. Is there a way to adjust the laser? or do you think the laser is damaged?

Why do you think that it is the laser? I'm afaid that it could be anything, including: broke PC board, bad connections etc.
